Azerbaijan, Baku, July 31 /Trend, H. Valiyev/

The Information Computer Center (ICC) of Azerbaijan's Communications and Information Technologies Ministry will strengthen the security of the billing information system and network infrastructure of state communication operators, the ICC told Trend.

The introduction of a new version of TELNET remote access system, supporting SSH protocol (Secure Shell) is envisaged for this purpose.

Currently, this solution is being implemented for guaranteeing operation sustainability of ICC's central servers against various virus attacks.

Works on implementation of new system in all subdivisions of Aztelekom and Baku Telephone Communications Production Associations (PA) will be completed by late 2013.

The SSH network protocol allows for the remote control of operations systems, as well as the encryption of information exchanges, including passwords.

SSH protocol allows to securely exchange with information in an insecure network via any other network protocol. Users can remotely work on computer through command shell, as well as transmit audio and video information through an encrypted channel.
