Azerbaijan imported 24.219 vehicles in January-October 2015 compared to 52.086 vehicles in the same period of 2014, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said in its statistics report.
The report said that cars and motor vehicles accounted for 21,497 of the total number of vehicles imported to the country in the ten months of 2015.
Azerbaijan imported 47,379 cars and motor vehicles in January-October 2014.
Moreover, Azerbaijan imported 1,750 trucks in January-October 2015 (4,125 trucks for ten months of 2014). The remaining part of the import accounted for other types of vehicles.
The country imported 63,368 vehicles in 2014 compared to 104,385 vehicles in 2013.
