Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov attended the meeting of foreign ministers of the countries of the EU Eastern Partnership program, within the framework of his visit to New York to participate in the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly, the press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed the agenda of the upcoming Vilnius summit and exchanged ideas on the documents to be signed, the report said.
Elmar Mammadyarov also underscored the importance of implementing strategic energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in other spheres.
