Belarusian Institute Belzheldorproject (Belarusian Railway Project) plans to take part in the design of infrastructure for the railways of Azerbaijan, Belarusian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich told reporters Dec.17.
He said that the implementation of joint projects in the field of construction has already become an important direction of development of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
In late 2013, the Belarusian builders completed the construction of residential settlement for internally displaced people in Ismayilli district of Azerbaijan. Belarusian design organizations actively cooperate with Azerbaijan, he said.
The diplomat said that in 2014, the Belarusian Design Institute of Regional and Urban Planning (BelNIIPgradostroitelstva) began to develop a master plan of Gobu village, located not far from Baku, designed for 70,000 inhabitants.
The diplomat said that in 2015, it is scheduled to hold the ninth session of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
Intergovernmental meeting is planned to be held in Minsk, Patskevich said.
He said that during the meeting, the sides will discuss the issues of the development of trade and economic relations and the new promising areas of future cooperation between the two countries.
