President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Mitsuhiro Furusawa on May 1.
The importance of holding the 48th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in Baku was emphasized, and high level preparations for the event were hailed during the meeting.
It was stressed that Azerbaijan was a favorable place for holding high-profile international events and had good experience on this front.
The parties underlined the significance of long-term successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the International Monetary Fund, and discussed prospects of this cooperation.
