Leaders of Azadlig block вЂ" chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), reformists, MP Ali Kerimli, chairman of the Musavat Party, Isa Gambar, and the first deputy of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA), Sardar Djalalogli, being in Istanbul on a visit, signed a document entitled the “Istanbul Declaration, the Musavat press service told Trend.
The Declaration reflected various requirements related to the parliamentary elections. Among them making amendments to the Election Code, as well as revision of the electoral commissions’ compositions; creating equal opportunities for all nominees during the election campaign, including former political prisoners and emigrants
