By Fatih Karimov - Trend:

Iran has not yet received the 5th part of its $2.8 billion worth of blocked assets, which was agreed upon following the extended nuclear deal with P5+1 group, Iran's ISNA news agency reported on November 3.

Iran should be receiving the 5th part of the blocked assets on Nov. 3, however the country has not yet received the 4th part. The 6th part is scheduled to be transferred to Iran on Nov. 23.

Thus far, according to Iran's Central Bank, the country has received first and second parts of its assets, worth $1 billion in total, and later received the third part, worth $400 million.

Iran and P5+1 will hold the next round of nuclear negotiations in Omani capital city of Muscat on Nov.11, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Nov 2.

The meeting will be held after the trilateral meeting of Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, US Secretary of State John Kerry and outgoing EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton which is scheduled for Nov. 9-10.

Iran and the P5+1 held their latest round of talks in Vienna in mid-October to work out a final agreement aimed at ending the long-standing dispute over Tehran's nuclear program.

Last November, the two sides clinched an interim nuclear accord, which took effect on Jan. 20 and expired six months later. However, the parties agreed to extend their talks until Nov. 24 as they remained divided on a number of key issues.
