Taking into account the increased demand on the market, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) together with its partners decided to start initiating the budget tours to the world's most popular resorts from 2016, AZAL told Trend.
These flights are planned to be made on the full economy-class aircraft with an appropriate service.
AZAL offers passengers a high level of safety, comfort and qualitative service. As opposed to many other companies, AZAL guarantees the return flight, despite a possible change in the political situation in a particular country.
"It was previously reported that in June 2015, Skytrax international rating agency, the most influential one in the field of assessing the quality of airlines' service, awarded AZAL with "4 Stars" prestigious rating, which put the national carrier of Azerbaijan in line with recognized global carriers in the world," AZAL said. "In this context, the cost of AZAL services looks very competitive."
"Statistics show that customers of tour operator partners of AZAL prefer to live in four-star hotels (20 percent) and five-star hotels (80 percent), and therefore, the relatively high price is formed," AZAL said. "But even in this case, partners of AZAL make customers competitive offers to relax in the resorts."
"Special offers on the price of tour packages (which include flight and stay in a 5 star hotel) to the most popular resorts of the world is 499 manats," said AZAL.
The company said that according to the official statistics, 35 percent growth was recorded in the number of departures from Azerbaijan compared to the arrivals in the country in 2014.
AZAL said that jointly with the partners, it would open a flight to the resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh in September 2015.
