The National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic continue to own stakes of 6.7 percent each of the shares of the Tashkent Mechanical Plant, while the remaining shares belong to the working collective.

It is planned to sell 25.6 percent of the government stake of the plant to the foreign investor within the framework of the privatization program announced in Uzbekistan in April 2015.

The Tashkent Aircraft Production Association named after V.P. Chkalov was renamed into Tashkent Mechanical Plant JSC in 2013.
