Azerbaijan imported 1,742 vehicles in January-April 2016, as compared to 12,890 in the same period of 2015, said a report from the country's State Customs Committee.
Cars and motor vehicles accounted for 1,509 of the total number of vehicles imported by the country in January-April 2016, according to the report.
Azerbaijan imported 11,740 cars and motor vehicles in January-April 2015.
Moreover, the country imported 152 trucks in January-April 2016 (645 in January-April 2015). The remaining part of the import accounted for other types of vehicles.
Azerbaijan imported 26,785 vehicles in 2015, as compared to 63,368 in 2014.
