A new poultry-farm will open in Shamkir on 25 October 2005, Atasanaye company told Trend.
$3m was spent on the building of this farm, the same source said. The new establishment is consisted of 3 new workshops, laboratories, drying departments and incubator. 250,000 birds will be brought from Ukraine shortly. The factory will produce 40,000 eggs a day, and this figure will reach 90,000 till the end of the year.
It is also planned to produce 100 tons of meat a month.
The factory’s products will also be exported to Georgia and Central Asia.
