CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF AGRARIAN REFORMS IN AZERBAIJAN WILL TAKE PLACE IN SEPTEMBER

A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 10-year anniversary of agrarian reforms in Azerbaijan to be held in Moscow, in the current September.

The event was initially scheduled for July, later it was postponed for 24 August, the head of the economic reforms and entrepreneurship development department of the Agriculture Ministry Islam Ibragimov told Trend.

According to him, due to the address of the Russian side the decision to hold a conference in September was taken, but the exact date is not set yet.

The conference is planned to be held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. “It is not ruled out, the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Ismet Abbasov will take part in the forum”, the representative of the Agriculture Ministry stressed.

The object of the conference is discussion of achievements for the last 10 years in the agrarian sphere of Azerbaijan (the first reform in the agrarian sector of Azerbaijan was held in February 1995).
