Azerbaijan has sent to the Tariff Council of CIS and Baltic countries, with headquarters in Kiev, its official opinion on the protocol on tariff policy in 2006 developed by experts from the member countries, the Azerbaijan State Railway Department (ASRD) told Trend.
The protocol was discussed with relevant with relevant bodies of the country and a final document reflecting replies and proposals on some questions was drafted.
The protocol will be discussed in a meeting of the heads of railway administration of the CIS and Baltic countries on tariff policy for 2006, to be held in Tallinn on 18 October 2005. An Azerbaijani delegation headed by Arif Asgarov, the head of the ASRD, is expected to attend the gathering.
