Supreme Audit Court of Iran says Iran's net natural gas export reached €442 million in the last fiscal year.

According to the report published Feb.4, the Iranian government should have transferred €114.69 million, which is 26 percent of Iran's net natural gas export (exports minus imports) to the Treasury, but didn't. Then Iran's total net gas export revenues stood at €442 million during last fiscal year.

Iran's fiscal year starts on March 21.

Iran exports natural gas to Turkey and imports Turkmen gas.

There is not any official statistics about the accurate volume of Iran's gas imports and exports, but Iran reportedly increased its gas exports to Turkey by one billion cubic meters during 2014 to 10 bcm. Then Iran's gas export to Turkey during last fiscal year was likely about 9 billion cubic meters.

There are no any official statistics about Iran's gas imports; and Iran doesn't announce the price of its gas trade, so calculating the volume of Iran's gas import/export is not possible.

According to the latest announcements, Iran has asked Turkmenistan to increase the gas delivery to Iran since fall.

The Deputy Oil Minister Hamidreza Araghi said mid-January that currently Iran exports gas to Turkey based on agreement (10 bcm per annum) and imports 38.5 million cubic meters of gas from Turkmenistan.

There is not any information about the average Turkmen gas import by Iran during the current fiscal year.
