The outcomes of the incident on the exploitation well 16 on Shallow-water Gunashli field are removed with the sea stationary platform 14, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan told Trend . At present the fountain is liquidated in the well, while the results of the incident will be liquidated soon.
The well with the production rate of 30 tons of oil a day was ceased for refurbishment. The incident took place on 24 July. "A break of preventor caused fire, which was put off shortly. No one suffered as a result of a fire. The work here is implemented under the private control of the Director of the Azneft PA, Yaver Jamalov,� the same source said.
