For the first time in the current year SOCAR commenced drilling of the N425 production well on the on-shore “Lokbatan” field. Drilling works are performed by the Directorate of the Development and Drilling Works (DDDW) “Gobustan” , a part of the SOCAR “Azneft” Producing Unit.
The well’s design depth is 2500 meters. Over 500 meters have been drilled by now. The average daily drilling speed is 33 meters.
Accomplishment of drilling works on this well is expected till the year-end, SOCAR noted.
The Directorate of the Development and Drilling Works (DDDW) “Gobustan” along with the specified well carries out drilling of the exploration well on the “Northern Naftalan” field and the production wells on “Surahani” , “Puta” and other fields.
