The work on construction of 87MW module power station is planned to start in the Khachmaz region. The work will be carried out by the Azerbaijani AZENCO, which is currently building a module power station in the Astara region, the pres service of the Azerenerji told Trend.
According to Ahmadia Shahhusseynov, the Director of the Company, they conducted topographic and geodesic research, made necessary analysis and defined coordinates of laying in the territory allotted for construction of the station in Astara.
The construction of the 87MW Astara power station is planned to be completed till late 2005. The stations in the regions Khachmaz and Shaki are due to be put into exploitation in 2006 at the President’s instruction.
