Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited today the Nazarbayev University. The Russian Prime Minister was accompanied by Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov. The delegation was met by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Nazarbayev University, Aslan Sarinzhipov.

The visit of the guests began from review of the layout of the university campus and visits to educational and research laboratories of the university. Thus, in the robotics lab the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation was shown robots, with which students and scholars of the Nazarbayev University work and he was also told in what areas of the industry such devices can be used. In addition, Dmitry Medvedev got familiarized with the current scientific developments in medicine of the University.

At the end of the visit the guests visited the university library. The Russian Prime Minister said that he heard about the extensive collection of electronic information resources available to the library of the Nazarbayev University. In the library Dmitry Medvedev answered students' questions and signed the guest book. "I wish all students and teachers of the Nazarbayev University academic excellence and research. You have a great university!" he wrote. Students of the Nazarbayev University gave a guest branded baseball cap and shirt with the logo of the university, and offered cooperation with Russian students in the field of sports. The Nazarbayev University gave Medvedev a "Spiral" picture by a young Kazakh artist Dastan Bisenov.
