Kazakhstan plans to supply grain to South-East Asia

Kazakh grain is planned to be supplied to South-East Asia, chairman of the state inspection committee in the agro-industrial complex of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture Saktash Khasenov said at a briefing in the Central Communications Service.

"We have good progress, that's the export of bread to South-East Asia and China," Khasenov said.

"The issue has been almost resolved," he said. "Thus, the export volumes of Kazakh grain to China have been growing for the last 3-4 years."

"The exports to South-East Asia, including South Korea, by transit through China in the future are being considered," he said.

The main sales markets of Kazakh grain are Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
