India aims to further strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership with Turkmenistan, says a message sent by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The message was sent on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Turkmen government said in a message Apr. 21.

“Noting the sustainable progress of the India-Turkmenistan multidimensional dialogue and praising the mutual success in all spheres, we aim to further strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership,” said Mukherjee in his message.

The Indian president also expressed confidence that the two countries’ cooperation will reach new heights for the benefit of the two nations in the name of their further development and prosperity.

The two countries are involved in the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline.
