By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan, inaugurated a carbon fiber tissue production plant with an annual production capacity of 150 metric tons.
The T-300 carbon fiber production plant will meet the lion's share of the country's need for raw material, Iran's IRIB quoted Dehghan as saying on March 11.
All the study, construction, and installation processes have been carried out by Iranian experts, he noted.
Carbon fiber is used in automotive, oil and gas drilling, power generation, sporting goods, as well as medical and environmental industries.
