Iran has imported 21,852 tons of oil products through its northern ports in Anzali, Neka and Amirabad in a period of three months between 20 March and 21 May, Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran's statistics reported.
Comparing to the same time last year, the figure has dropped by 62 percent in Anzali, by 93 percent in Amirabad and by 12 percent in Neka.
During the same period in 2015, Iran imported 4,510 tons of oil products and 236,117 tons of non-oil products through Anzali port.
The total amount of oil products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports in the mentioned period has increased by 37 percent year-on-year.
Over the past three months, 49.953 million tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded at ports across the country.
