Azerbaijani and Kuwaiti state comities sign cooperation agreement

The Kuwaiti and Azerbaijani state committees on the Family, Women and Children Affairs signed a cooperation agreement under the framework of strengthening respect for human rights and international law, the Kuwaiti Al Qabas newspaper reported.

The Kuwaiti and Azerbaijani state committees on the Family, Women and Children Affairs signed a cooperation agreement under the framework of strengthening respect for human rights and international law, the Kuwaiti Al Qabas newspaper reported.

The document was signed by Kuwaiti Committee Head Latifa Al-Fahd and her Azerbaijani Counterpart Hijran Huseynova, who is on two-day visit to Kuwait.

The committee attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with neighboring countries in the advancement of sate of women, children and families, Al-Fahd told journalists.

"The purpose of such agreements is to facilitate the government's activities for the improvement of women's life through the exchange of experiences and information on women's issues and the bilateral activities that examine the problems of children and families in general," she said. The committee's special groups will monitor the execution points of the agreement.
