Georgian First Lady: Project to exchange socially disadvantaged teens to be launched with Azerbaijan in August (PHOTOS)

The first group of Georgian teenagers will visit Azerbaijan under a project to exchange socially disadvantaged youth from Azerbaijan and Georgia. The project will be launched in late August, Georgian First Lady Sandra Roelofs said on a visit to Baku.

The first group of Georgian teenagers will visit Azerbaijan under a project to exchange socially disadvantaged youth from Azerbaijan and Georgia. The project will be launched in late August,  Georgian First Lady Sandra Roelofs said on a visit to Baku.

The project was initiated by Azerbaijani First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva together with Roelofs.

The project aims to help socially disadvantaged teenagers aged 14 to 18 who are in a difficult financial situation. The group of Georgian students will consist of 20 people, she said.

"In November, when Azerbaijani schoolchildren go on vacation, we plan to organize a visit to Georgia, not only to Tbilisi, but also to other cities," Roelofs told media after her visit.

The trips will last from 7-10 days.
