Congressman Dan Burton summed up the two-day visit of a U.S. delegation in Georgia at a news conference in Batumi.

Burton said he and the delegation members are satisfied with the results of the visit.

He said Georgian President Mihkeil Saakahsvili yesterday showed them facilities that are under construction and that have already been built in Batumi.

Burton said they liked the House of Justice most.

He said he believes that the "single-window" principle should be applied in the U.S.

Burton also talked about meetings with representatives of the Georgian opposition. He said the Georgian opposition's current demands from the authorities are acceptable to him. Barton said that the changes in the country can only take place through transparent and fair elections. He
said the U.S. will always support democratic reforms in the law enforcement system.

Georgian National Security Council Secretary Giga Bokeria also attended the press conference. He said the American businessmen's arrival in Georgia is of great importance, since they can personally see and become familiar with the current processes in Georgia.
