Entrance into Kazakhstan may be prohibited for anyone who has served a sentence for terrorism.

"Administrative supervision and control over persons serving sentence for terrorist crimes are being introduced, as well as a ban on the entrance into Kazakhstan of persons whom national security agencies have information about their involvement in extremism or terrorist activity," in conclusion of the draft law "On making amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the issues of combating extremism and terrorism".

It is also offered to include the organization performing extremist, terrorist activities to the category of either extremist or terrorist.

The amendment aims to introduce new legal form of action with the purpose of prevention and neutralization of the actions creating conditions for committing crimes, including terrorist and extremist crimes.

Amendments have been made to the law "On countering extremist activities" in the parts relating to improving the conceptual apparatus, the authority of the financial police to implementation of prevention, detection and suppression of sources, channels and ways of financing extremism has been clarified. A norm is also being introduced for special accounting of information material deemed extremist.

The national security authorities may issue individuals and legal persons with warnings about actions that create the conditions for crime, the investigation of which belongs to the jurisdiction of national security, the conclusion said.
