Shavkat Tillaev has been appointed Deputy Health Minister by a decree from Uzbek President Islam Karimov.
Tillaev's area of responsibility will include departmental head for development of the material and technical base, Accounting and Reporting Department, Complex Exploration Department, Administration Department, Department of Motor Transport and the Republican Motor Pool, unitary enterprises Uzmedexport and Uzmedtekhnika and the Dori Darmon joint stock company, the ministry told Trend on Monday.
Prior to this appointment, Tillaev served as board chairman of the State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company O'zmarkazimpeks.
As deputy minister he replaced Marat Khodzhibekov, who resigned in March in connection with his retirement.
