Rallies will be held today in various Turkish cities in support of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, Turkish newspaper Sabah reported on Friday.

According to the newspaper, it is expected that support action will take place in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Ankara following Friday prayers. A similar rally was held the day before.

After the military ousting of the Egyptian president, thousands took to the streets in support of Mohammed Morsi. Earlier, Egypt's Muslim scholars have expressed their support for the president.

It is assumed that support rallies will take place today in different cities of Egypt after Friday prayers in support of the president.

On July 2, following the expiration of an ultimatum put forward by the army to the government of Egypt, the country's army ousted the president in a military coup and seized power in the country.

According to Al Jazeera, Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood are accused of violation of the constitution.
