'KPMG Azerbaijan Limited' international auditing company is completing an audit at Azerbaijani postal operator Azerpoct LLC, on financing activities in 2011-2012, the postal operator told Trend on Jan. 13.
The postal operator said that the audit results will be announced by late January.
KPMG Azerbaijan Limited is the winner of a tender that was previously announced by the Azerpoct LLC. The tender was held as part of the 'Modernization of the financial sector of Azerbaijan' project, funded by a loan from the World Bank (WB). A part of the funds is envisaged for consultancy services for the postal operator.
Funding of the component related to the development of postal services is conducted by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
