Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan has resigned, vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said Thursday, according to Novosti-Armenia.
According to him, the resignation was accepted by the Republican Party of Armenia.
"Tigran Sargsyan made such a request to the president a month ago , but the president asked him to stay in office, taking into account the processes around the Customs Union and the case of pension reform in the Constitutional Court. Resignation was accepted today " Sharmazanov said.
