Turkey will continue liberalization of the energy market, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said, the TRT Haber channel reported Feb. 10.
He said the liberalization of the energy market is an important step, and this process accelerated in Turkey mostly after 2012.
In 2002, the share of private sector in the energy market in Turkey was only 34 percent, but now it exceeds 53 percent.
Turkey aims to increase this figure to 75 percent.
Davutoglu also said that Turkey will continue political and economic reforms.
