The Georgian Presidential Administration jas denied the information that Georgia gave an unconditional consent to Russia's joining the World Trade Organization, the Free Georgia party said with reference to the source.

According to the "Free Georgia," this issue was discussed at a meeting between Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden in Rome.

Russia's accession to the WTO is being resolved at the Georgian-Russian talks, spokesperson for the president Manana Manjgaladze told media.

"I can frankly say that Russia's accession to the WTO is being solved on the Russian-Georgian negotiations," she said. "Official Washington has repeatedly fixed its position on this issue, stating that this question must be solved by the two countries through negotiations."
