Turkey is economically independent from any world country and this is not old Turkey, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Saturday, Anadolu agency reported.
According to him, at present, the country gained economic achievements and manufactures its own military equipment.
He also stressed that earlier Turkey was not involved in solving international problems, but now the country has a significant influence in the world.
Moreover, Turkish Foreign Minister said that earlier Turkey always had a defensive position on North Cyprus and the so-called "Armenian genocide".
"But now, Ankara has professional diplomats and politicians," Davutoglu added.
