The chairman of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov received on 27 December 2005 the Charge d’Affaires of Russia in Azerbaijan Peter Burdykin.
The sides discussed the issues of the Azerbaijani-Russian cooperation development, the inter-parliamentary dialogue, implementation of large regional economic projects at the meeting, Trend reports. The sides voiced confidence over further expanding and strengthening of links.
Burdylin congratulated Asadov on being elected the Speaker of the Parliament.
