FIFA President Joseph Blatter has expressed confidence that the world championship of 17-year old girls will be organized at a high level.
"We have got familiarized with the arenas that will host the matches, and we can say that the championship will be held at a high level," Blatter told reporters on Monday.
FIFA World Cup of 17-year-old girls will be held in 2012 in Azerbaijan. Games of the World Cup will be held from September 22 to October 10.
Regarding the artificial lawn on the Dalğa Arena Stadium, the FIFA President said that the best conditions for the game are a natural grass football field. "But if the natural conditions in this or other region are not available for growing grass, qualitative artificial lawn is quite acceptable. The coverage on Dalğa Arena Stadium is of high-quality lawn," said Blatter.
The FIFA President also said that Azerbaijan has won the Eurovision Song Contest and arrange another prestigious competition next year in Baku.
