Judicial Hearings on Criminal Case of Ex-Health Minister Goes On

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr E. Javadova/ The court hearings on the criminal case of Ali Insanov, the former Azerbaijan Health Minister has continued in the Azerbaijan Court for Serious Crimes today, Trend reports.

Today, the accused has answered questions put by the state prosecutor, Kamran Aliyev.

Particularly, the prosecutor's questions concerned the legality of the privatization of some health care and protection facilities and objects, as well as the participation of his relatives in this process.

Mr. Insanov said that that the Privatization Commission had been founded within the Ministry. It was just this office which was occupied with these issues.

Notably, Ali Insanov is accused in exceeding his commissions, bribe taking, evasion from taxes, and illegal privatization. Other ten persons more are accused together with him, however, they have gone bail.

The court hearings will continue tomorrow.
