Georgia increases wine export by 40 percent

The exports of Georgian wine has increased by 40 percent compared to last year, the Georgian Statistics Agency told Trend.

According to the information, the growth exceeds $ 14 million.

Ukraine ranks first among the export markets of Georgian wine once again, a statement said. About 44 percent of exports fall to it.

The significant growth was fixed in India and England. The cost of the export of wine has increased three times.

The Georgian government and investment agency conduct active marketing campaign to promote the Georgian wine in the world. India held a special meeting.
