Iran’s coal concentrate production grows 13%

In the sixth month (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) of this Iranian year (began on March 21, 2019), coal concentrate production of Tabas Parvadeh and Alborz Markazi coal companies related to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) increased by 13 percent, Trend reports with reference to the IMIDRO website.

The two companies produced a total of 65,126 tons of coal concentrate in the sixth month, compared to 57,458 tons in the same month last year, according to the report.

Some 56,642 tons of coal concentrate account for the Tabas Parvadeh coal company and 8,484 tons account for the Alborz Markazi coal company.

The two companies also extracted a total of 66,642 tons of coal in the six months.

The volume of coal concentrate shipped by these companies to customers during the reporting period increased by 36 percent compared to the same period last year (54,678 tons) and reached approximately 74,114 tons. The Tabas Parvadeh coal company shipped 65,482 tons to its customers and Alborz Markazi coal company shipped 8,632 tons to its customers.
