Baku Steel Company to Increase Prices
The biggest metallurgical enterprise of Azerbaijan, Baku Steel Company, has made a resolution to increase the price of its products. The company informed Trend on 19 January 2007 that the key reason for the price rise was the recent rise in domestic tariffs of energy recourses in Azerbaijan.
It is necessary to increase the price of the products. At the present time it is too premature to speak on the definite scale of the price rise. It will be defined as soon as the company restores production. BSC informed.
At present the company is involved in the collection of raw metal for further manufacturing.
Currently, 12 x 40 concrete has been at the price of 500.39 manats per ton (VAT inclusive) and 2 x 8 concrete at the price of 509.74 manats per ton.
