Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The second meeting of the inter-departmental working group on national plan regarding realization of GUAM's project on assistance to trade and transportation took place in Baku this week. The Press-Service of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan informs that the meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan's Customs Committee, Asker Abdullayev, Chief of Migration and Border Control Department of State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Akif Shafiyev and members of the working group. The meeting focused on preparation of relevant standards for customs and border services on the base of the international standards, review of the customs and border legislation, study of the international experience in this sphere, preparing proposals on joining international customs conventions, etc. The national plan comprises of two preparatory and basic stages.
