Turkey and Azerbaijan discussed prices for natural gas and development of fields. These topics were principal during talks between Turkish minister of energy and natural resources Taner Yildiz and SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) head Rovnag Abdullayev on July 10, ITAR-TASS said.

"We discussed regulation of prices for purchase of fuel from Shakh Deniz field and volumes of future gas supplies from Shakh Deniz-2 within talks. Contacts continue but we have not signed the agreement yet," Yildiz said. He said that delegations need to work over figures concerning purchase price.

Earlier Azerbaijan said about intention to increase price for gas exported to Turkey. Presently, price hits $120 per 1,000 cubic meters. "We submitted our proposals to the Azerbaijani side. We expect for response proposals from this side too," minister said.
