Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade urged the participants of the Batumi Energy Conference to make financially attractive energy supply through the Southern Energy Corridor. In his speech to the conference he said it is necessary to develop an attractive tariff system for this.

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade urged the participants of the Batumi Energy Conference to make financially attractive energy supply through the Southern Energy Corridor. In his speech to the conference he said it is necessary to develop an attractive tariff system for this.

"We need to create a commercial system, which will be beneficial for suppliers and recipients of energy," he said, stressing that the Batumi conference will be the first step towards the implementation of these projects.

The minister also stressed that shares and supports Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's statement, urging that the consumers should obtain energy in time.

"That is why Azerbaijan will do everything to ensure implementation of alternative energy projects," Rasizade stressed.

"It is important for the development of the region, particularly to improve its socio-economic status," Rasizade added.

Azerbaijan is ready to increase energy supplies, the Prime Minister underscored.
