In January-February CJSC "Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri" removed 15,000 cubic meters of sludge from areas of the H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), CJSC said.
CJSC said that over 20,000 cubic meters land have been removed.
Operations within the project bioremediation of sludge have been started in January 2010.
Ecological Park with area of 9.3 hectare will be located on the territory of OGPU. Various kinds of trees and plants will be grown here. Alternative energy sources will be actively used during implementation of this project.
kol Muhendislik Xidmetleri was co-founded in March 2006 to solve ecological problems in Absheron. SOCAR holds 51 percent of shares and Lancer S.A. Services 49 percent of shares in the company, the company reported.
