A new project to collect and transport low-pressure associated gas from Oily Rocks is valued at 5.3 million manat, SOCAR said today.
The project is implemented within the "Clean Development Mechanism" program, which will allow approximately 203.6 million cubic meters of gas to be received per year.
An agreement was signed between SOCAR and German Gazprom Germania GmbH to implement the project. Over 80 percent of the assembly and construction activities on both the compressors and the pipelines have been completed.
Gazprom Germania GmbH representatives will visit Baku July 19-23 to review the results.
