Shimal' power plant in Azerbaijan generated about 1.4 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-July this year or 25 million kilowatt-hours more than the projected figure, "Azerenergy" (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) said.
In July the power plant generated 179.4 million kilowatt-hours or 1.4 million kilowatt-hours more than the projected figure.
Within preparation for the autumn-winter season repair works were carried out on the plant's power units. Also, works were carried out on the territory of 110-kV substation and other administrative and subsidiary buildings.
