Azerbaijan exports over 120,000 tons of gasoline,diesel to Georgia

Azerbaijan exported to Georgia 122,400 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel from January to September 2019, Trend reports citing the Union of Georgian Oil Product Importers.

In the reported period, imports of gasoline and diesel fuel to Georgia amounted to 779,400 tons overall, which is 35,000 tons or 4.3 percent less than for the same period in 2018 (814,400 tons).

In the first 9 months of 2019, the largest volume of imports of both fuels came from Russia – 231,700 tons, which is 29.7 percent of total imports. Romania follows next (215,500 tons - 27.6 percent), then comes Azerbaijan – 122,400 tons (15.7 percent), Turkmenistan – 87,900 tons (11.3 percent), Bulgaria – 68,300 tons (8.8 percent), Greece – 45,900 tons (5.9 percent) and other countries.

From January to September 2019, gasoline imports amounted to 403,400 tons, which is 2,000 tons (0.5 percent) less compared to the same period in 2018.

Diesel fuel imports, according to statistics, were lower than last year - 376,000 tons in this year's nine months, 8 percent down from the same period last year.
