A gas pipeline has been installed at the Shurtan field (operated by Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department of Uzbekneftegaz), Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, the departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC are taking measures to increase the production of natural gas and gas condensate and ensure the stable demand of consumers for these products.
One of these practical activities was successfully completed at the primary gas treatment unit at the Shurtan field.
It is reported that after the completion of installation work, the gas pipeline from the Shurtan field was connected to a new gas collection point.
“Natural gas produced from newly drilled wells in the gas field will now be collected through this pipeline at a collection point. After that, it will be transferred to the Shurtan Head Facility for processing in order to obtain condensate and liquefied gas,” Uzbekneftegaz said.
In addition, a grinding pipeline was installed for the purpose of putting into operation well No. 336, drilled at the Shurtan field. The grinding pipeline was connected to collection point No. 5 and an additional daily production of 80,000 cubic meters of natural gas was achieved.
