Gazexport Ltd. (a daughter structure of the Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) Gazprom) delivered in January-July 2005, 2,95 billion cu m gas to Azerbaijan, which is for 185 million cu m more of the supplied in 2004 for the similar period, the JSC Azerigaz told Trend.
According to the Azerigaz spokesman, in July Gazexport delivered 350,6 million cu m gas to Azerbaijan, which is for 16,5 million cu m less of the June 2005 and for 284,4 million cu m more of July 2004.
SOCAR plans to purchase some 6 billion cu m gas from Gazexport in the current year at the price of $60 per 1,000 cu m. The natural gas is supplied to the country through the gas pipeline Shirvanovka-GaziMagomed.
