The Communication and IT Ministry signed the intergovernmental agreement with Syrian foreign minister in IT, deputy head of international relations of the Communication and IT Ministry Rufat Tagizadeh told trend Capital on July 9.
The agreement envisages cooperation with Syrian companies producing telecommunication equipment, he said. The Syrian side offers Azerbaijan to get familiarize with production of companies.
The agreement was signed within official visit of the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to Azerbaijan. The document was signed by Azerbaijani communication and IT minister Ali Abbasov and Syrian foreign minister Walid al-Muallem.
