Ukraine to resume regular flights to Uzbekistan

Ukraine will resume regular flights on the Kyiv – Tashkent – Kyiv route, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Ukraine International Airlines.

According to the Ukraine International Airlines, regular flights on the Kyiv – Tashkent – Kyiv route will be performed from Ukraine to Uzbekistan and on the return route starting from April 8 to April 29.

It is reported that the flights from Kyiv will be operated every Thursday, and from Tashkent - every Friday.

To enter Uzbekistan, a passenger must have a negative test result for COVID-19, made no earlier than 72 hours. In the absence of a test or if there are symptoms of coronavirus, the passenger must pass the test at his own expense at the checkpoint. After that, admission to the territory of Uzbekistan will be allowed with the passage of 14 days of self-isolation at home or in a hotel.

Earlier, Uzbekistan Airways announced the resumption of regular flights on the Tashkent - New York - Tashkent route on Thursdays. According to Uzbekistan Airways, regular flights Tashkent - New York - Tashkent route will be operated on Thursdays starting from April 22.

It is reported that at present Uzbekistan Airways carries out regular flights on the route Tashkent-New York-Tashkent on Sundays.

Also, Uzbekistan resumed flights to Georgia. It was noted that flights on the Tashkent-Tbilisi-Tashkent route will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting from March 30.

In addition, weekly flights on the route Tashkent - Riga (Latvia) - Tashkent will be resumed in May.
